[Sensitive, Paranoid Villainous Disciple x Stern-on-the-Surface, Soft-Hearted Master]
Everyone knows being a master is a high-risk profession, and Gu Shiqing is the unlucky one.
Not only has she become the master of a future great villain, she also has to keep an eye on her at all times to stop her from going astray.
The good news is, as soon as she realizes who she is, she immediately puts distance between herself and Pei Zhiyu.
The bad news is, she puts too much distance between them. Forget keeping an eye on Pei Zhiyu: whenever Gu Shiqing gets even a little closer, Pei Zhiyu starts avoiding her.
To complete her mission, Gu Shiqing has no choice but to go to great lengths to invent a secret identity and gradually approach Pei Zhiyu.
Inside the secret realm, facing Gu Shiqing in disguise, Pei Zhiyu demands coldly, "Do you take me for a dog?"
After they leave the secret realm, Gu Shiqing watches Pei Zhiyu care for her day and night without changing her clothes, and starts to think the girl really does have a tail.
Pei Zhiyu accidentally discovers a secret: the master who is so strict with her and the person who likes her are one and the same.
Her master said she must never leave her sight. Her master also said she must stay by her side every moment. She has listened to everything, so her master must never go back on her word. Otherwise, Pei Zhiyu doesn't know what she might do...
