A meteorite fell, and a virus swept across the globe overnight.

Zombies roamed below. Jiang Li made her decision at once: loot both apartments, bring the male lead along, and head for the rooftop!
The good news: the necklace her parents left her contained a storage space, along with a survival System named Dahuang.
The bad news: the space was small, the System was stingy, and its rewards were only odds and ends like blankets, seeds, pots, bowls, and solar panels.
Jiang Li's eyes lit up anyway.
While others went thirsty and hungry, she ate hot pot in her tent. While others huddled in the dark and cold, she was already using solar power. While everyone else was still fighting over a packet of crackers, her rooftop garden was celebrating its first harvest.
From a shabby plastic tent, to a little rooftop courtyard, and then to a Sky City connecting an entire cluster of buildings...
Hugging Dahuang, Jiang Li looked at the original male lead beside her, who was getting harder and harder to fool.
"I saved you because I needed a bodyguard."
Pei Yan: "Sure. So are you planning to hire me for the rest of my life?"
