Five-year-old Qibao has lost her mother, and her soldier-king father returns to the village after being wounded in battle and left with a disabled leg.
Everyone in the village shakes their heads, saying the family is finished and little Qibao's life is ruined.
But Qibao isn't scared at all. She's a born social butterfly, always chattering and knowing just what to say.
Just as the family is about to run out of ways to get by, she binds herself to the [Little Lucky Charm Family Support System], which occasionally drops candy, white flour, pork, and fresh fruit.
Her grandmother, uncles, aunts, brothers, and sisters all dote on her and treat her like a treasure.
While other families make do with bran and wild greens, Qibao leads her whole family to feast on delicious food and live prosperously.
There's no shortage of gossip, and someone is always running their mouth: "No matter how well they do, she's still a poor little thing with no mother."
Qibao sways her little head and waves her hand, then reveals a bombshell in her childish voice:
"Not necessarily! My mom isn't just anyone. She's the real heiress who went missing from Jing City, and she's going to become the richest woman in the capital!"
Before long, the roar of a car comes from the distance.
Qibao's eyes light up. She tugs on her disabled father's sleeve and shouts:
"Dad! Grandma! Uncles! Brothers and sisters! Mom's coming to get us in a sports car! We're going to Jing City to live in a huge mansion!"
