Shen Mo is the scion of a declining clan, sent to guard the frontier. In this desperate place, he gains the Dao Seed known as "Battlemark Imprint." From then on, the frontier's fortunes take a sudden turn, and Shen Mo's era begins.
When foreign tribes invade, Shen Mo swears never to retreat. With powerful foes all around him, Shen Mo keeps the common people in his heart.
Shen Mo cultivates not for eternal life, but for the countless people behind him.
Shen Mo keeps a clear tally of favors and grudges. He is no self-sacrificing saint.
He will not betray the blood shed by those who came before him to defend the land and protect its people.
He cultivates for one purpose only: to protect the human world!
