A gloomy younger brother who seems gentle on the outside X a kind-hearted ghost older sister who seems cold on the outside
Xu Chen is just like his name: humble as dust.
Despised and ignored, he lives a bleak, colorless life.
Until one day, a voice tells him:
"Dust isn't ugly. It's just waiting for a ray of light to illuminate its brilliance."
Later, he really does find that ray of light.
Only, this 'ray of light' is a female ghost trapped inside a house.
Like a thorny rose, she seems cold and distant on the outside, but is warm and gentle within.
In his desolate world, she plants the first seed of warmth.
He does everything he can to help her escape the cycle of rebirth.
But he doesn't know that the so-called escape hides the cruelest truth of all.
