A deliveryman who has been scolded by his wife for three years is struck and killed by a “person” while making a delivery, then brought back to life by his wife’s last dose of medicine. He becomes the only person in the world who can “steal” monsters’ abilities. And the monsters aren’t his only enemies: he must also fight his fellow humans, who want to sell people by the pound.
