Ulanara Yixiu sat on the bed in the Cold Palace, staring blankly into space. After a long while, she murmured, “Empress, ah...”
She gazed at the pitch-black sky outside the window, let out a breath, and laughed bitterly. “Your Majesty, how cruel you are. So cruel. Everything I did was for you, and in the end, I’m still the Empress.” She gave a scornful laugh, then spat out a mouthful of blood. The Empress tipped her head back and fell.
As she hovered between life and death, a woman as lovely as a celestial maiden appeared before her, chin held high with pride. “Ulanara, your life is about to end. Yixiu grasped the token. Images flooded her mind from every direction. After an unknown length of time, she looked up at the haughty woman before her with a half-smile. Then she smashed the jade token to pieces. Watching the woman’s expression change as her shrieking figure grew faint, Yixiu sneered. “What sort of demon dares to come here and spout nonsense in front of me? I am the Empress. You demon, you think you can disturb my mind? Hmph, this must be Zhen Huan’s doing. I will never fall for your tricks.”
Super nice looking forward to updates
It's very interesting. Finally someone wrote a story about the combination of Yi Xiu and Dai Yu. I especially like how Yi Xiu can stir up troubles wherever he goes. There is also a super handsome Commander Li who is so delicious😄
