In Song Dynasty: My Game Has No Exit Button

Jiang Si is a hardcore speedrunner who accidentally loads into the immersive historical epic The Great Song.

From the start, he's thrown into the hell-level difficulty of the Jingkang Incident. The entire court is wailing in despair, and a hundred thousand Jin troops are surrounding Bianjing.

But Jiang Si's eyes light up at the sea of red health bars all around him. "Holy crap, what an amazing place to grind!"

And so the Jingkang Incident takes a sudden turn.

Just as Emperor Qinzong of Song is about to issue an order to sue for peace, Jiang Si slaps him. "This NPC talks too much. What button skips the cutscene?"

Wuzhu leads the Iron Pagoda troops in a charge, and Jiang Si leaps off the city wall with a great saber in hand, yelling, "Everyone, out of the way! Don't steal my XP!"

A history that was supposed to be humiliating is transformed into a one-man hack-and-slash game.

In the eyes of the ancients, Jiang Si is a peerless strategist and ruthless killer, an unfeeling demon god who treats the world like a chessboard. Even Yue Fei hails him as a legendary god of war.

After Jiang Si charges all the way through with sparks flying, topples the Jin army's camp, and sits on the dragon throne, he falls into deep thought:

"So who the hell ripped out the exit button for this game?"
