[Underworld | Period Drama | Northeast China | Ensemble Cast | Jianghu]
In 1985, in the small northeastern city of Chunhe, ten poor young men knelt and swore brotherhood.
They sealed their pact in blood, vowing to share fortune and misfortune alike.
They crawled out of the mud pits of the labor camp, risked their lives with every blade, and split half the jianghu apart with a single axe.
Gambling dens, dance halls, nightclubs: they climbed over their enemies' bones, with their lives hanging by a thread, all just to live with some dignity.
From then on, Chunhe recognized only one word: ruthless.
But no one expected that thirty years later, though the hands that once wielded knives had grown old, the jianghu still hadn't faded away.
Some had repaid their debts, some still owed lives, and some were waiting for a blade that was long overdue.
The debts and grudges of this world are never simply wiped clean...
