What does it mean to be a hero?
A hero takes up the wishes of others, speaks out against injustice, gives up selfish interests, upholds the common good, keeps a childlike heart, shoulders the sorrows of a troubled age, wields a three-foot sword, and protects the peace of all people.
Heroes can be found in the martial world and at court, among the common folk and in the homeland.
Everyone has their own definition of a hero, and everyone is their own hero.
The greatest heroes serve their country and its people. The humblest heroes safeguard their livelihood and keep their families safe.
