A century has passed, and the binding power of the Hundred-Year Blood Pact has grown weaker by the day. With his peerless divine power, Lin Xiao keeps the demon clans in awe and establishes Xuanyuan Academy to educate the myriad demons.
One day, his younger sister Lin Youran happens to move into the academy...
"Brother! Come quick! There's a strange noise in the academy, and the flowers are glowing!"
"That's the academy's voice-activated irrigation and lighting system. It turns on automatically at night. Don't make a fuss."
"Brother! Something's wrong with Dahei! He gets bigger at night! And he glows! He just scared away a shadow with wings!"
"Dahei is a large dog. He doesn't get much exercise at night, so he can put on weight. It's normal for him to look bigger than he does during the day. His collar has a glow-in-the-dark light that I put there so we can find him at night. As for the shadow, it was probably a stray cat from nearby. Dahei is alert and will chase things away to protect the academy."
There are strange noises in the academy, glowing flowers, a dog that grows bigger, a dining hall fit for a palace, giant radishes and cuts of meat two or three meters tall...
