After a heavy fog rolled in, the familiar city became a cage for Xu Zhao.
Communications were cut off, and every exit was sealed. Trapped with her in this post-apocalyptic world were two men.
Shen Yan was her childhood sweetheart, someone she'd trusted since they were children. The more desperate things became, the gentler he grew, as if he always knew what she needed before she did.
Lu Zheng and Xu Zhao went from distrusting each other to fighting for survival side by side. He was willing to risk his life to protect her, and he was growing less and less able to tolerate her leaving his sight.
They shielded her from danger, but also began deciding whom she should trust and where she should go.

She secretly left clues and tested the exits, as well as the two men who claimed they would never hurt her.
Outside the cage, a "post-apocalyptic reality show" was being broadcast live across the country.
The audience watched them bleed, embrace, and betray one another, arguing over which man she should choose.
When Xu Zhao finally found a camera and called for help, a comment drifted across the screen:
"She's acting so well."
