Chen Mo's old phone can receive repair requests a day before they are sent.
He tried fixing the hallway light overnight. The next day, just as expected, the residents sent him a photo of the light shining instead of a repair request.
Then a photo of a leak appeared, with an old friend's silver ring in the frame.
Chen Mo rushed to the apartment that night, but his friend was already dead. The repair request wouldn't arrive until the next morning.
Chen Mo hasn't taken a missing-persons case in three years. This time, he has to find his friend's killer.
