Please read the content warnings in Chapter One first. Thank you.

(The plot is just a scenario being projected. None of it really happened. Each small world only begins to function once the female lead enters it.)

Bai Yue was a well-connected member of the Quick Transmigration Bureau. She had no grand ambitions in life and only wanted to live off her family fortune, eating, drinking, and having fun. As for missions, she wanted no part of them.

The Quick Transmigration Bureau had just introduced a new policy: all its taskers had to complete missions, or they would be fired. The price of being fired from the Bureau was death.

Bai Yue: Oh no, this one is coming for me.

In the end, she had no choice but to take a minor-character mission. All she had to do was say certain lines or do certain things at specific points in the story to complete it.

There were no points, but she could eat, drink, and have fun in different worlds. And she wouldn't get fired. What was there not to like?

And then...

Why does the male lead keep following me around? I'm just a minor character!

Female lead, look at the male lead! Why are you shipping him with me? He's yours!

Bai Yue: System, the plot's gone off the rails!

System: What does the plot going off the rails have to do with us? We just need to finish our mission.

Male lead: Yueyue, I've been plotting to win you over for a long time.
