From the Start, I Had a Sick Little Brother in the Wilderness; I Became a Tycoon with Poisonous Herbs

Synopsis:

Cast out with nothing by her awful relatives, along with her frail little brother, and left to die on the barren Poisonstone Ridge? The whole village is waiting to collect Lin Xi's corpse!

Who could have guessed she'd awaken the [Shennong Compendium] and turn the deadly cassava growing all over the mountains into gourmet delicacies? And beneath a stinking mudflat, she'd discover a legendary salt deposit purer than the government salt!

A barren mountain becomes a mountain of gold. Her greedy clansmen come to seize it, a crooked merchant guild joins forces to crush her, and even the prime minister lays a deadly trap to steal her property! Lin Xi sneers, monopolizes the southern granaries, crushes the pride of the powerful, and drives her enemies to ruin, groveling and begging for mercy.

Just as she's seated in her grand chair, honored as the "Greatest Merchant Under Heaven," why does the penniless guard she casually rescued suddenly draw the Emperor's Sword and send troops to seal off the entire capital?
