Lin Wu Xiang, the Demon Venerable of the Heavenly Demon Continent, dies when his tribulation fails, and a wisp of his shattered soul falls into the torrent of time and space.

By chance, the two souls enter the same child's body amid the chaos of war and bind to a merit System!
Kill Japanese invaders, gain merit points!
Deliver the souls of the wrongly dead, gain merit points!
Save the wounded and protect fellow countrymen, gain merit points!
The once peerless Demon Venerable encounters an ordinary modern person who knows history.
One possesses demonic arts, while the other understands the course of the times.
The land is shattered, and smoke from the fires of war fills the horizon.
Sharing one body, the two take merit as their foundation, slay Japanese invaders and save the people, forging ahead through the chaos of war!
