My name is Chen Mo. I'm a food delivery driver.
This morning, I saw this review in the negative feedback section of my own app:
"Recipient: Chen Mo. Reason for the bad review: Deceased three days ago. Rating: One star."
Three days ago, my sister died in an "accident." A month ago, the platform deactivated my account because of a bad review. A year ago, I still believed that hard work would be rewarded.
Now I have a ledger in my hands.
Any bad review someone gives me, I can send right back to them, making them take back their words one by one, to my face.
The first one I returned was to the person who said I was "too slow."
The second went to the person who took photos at my sister's funeral and posted them on social media.
But when I got to the last one, I found a bad review I could never return.
It was signed by my sister.
She gave me one star. The date was the day before she died.
