[Mother] + [Urban Imagination] + [Mystery] + [Superpowers] + [Historical Figures] + [Supernatural]. There's something for everyone
Three things are wrong at Yongning No. 1 High School.
1. Chen Qi discovers that every day, one person on his school bus calls in sick.
2. After dark, a green light shines from a window on the sixth floor of the old school building.
3. Their homeroom teacher, Wang Xian, can actually see Li Bai!
Chen Qi wants to investigate the students who called in sick. He gets off the bus early and accidentally saves his own life, while every other student on board dies!
He rushes home, only to find that his mother has left him a bank card with 1.2 million yuan in savings. She is away on a sudden business trip, and after more than a decade of poverty, he can't make sense of any of it.
By chance, he awakens the Golden Crow. As it burns the monsters, it also burns away his memories. He forgets the entire poem Dreaming of Tianmu Mountain and Singing of a Farewell. He forgets the slap his deskmate took for him. He forgets the name of the girl who waits for the school bus at the stop every morning.
He can only use the time he has left to find the answers. Otherwise, he will forget every last person he cares about.
