Period: Raising Three Ex-Wives and Seven Daughters, I Strike It Rich Gathering Seafood

In 1980, the coastal fishing village has only just opened up, and every family is still scraping by on tiny plots of land and shallow fishing grounds.

Xu Hailang is the laughingstock of the village. He has three ex-wives and seven daughters, and the whole family is crammed into a ramshackle fisherman's hut.

But who could have imagined that this family, divorced but still living together, is actually a hidden team of wealth-makers!

Xu Hailang has a golden finger and knows all the secret signs of the tides. He heads for tidal flats no one else can find to harvest abalone and lobster. His first wife, Li Yufen, cures and dries seafood; his second ex-wife, Song Miaohan, goes to the market to negotiate prices; and his third ex-wife, Jiang Shuqin, tends the tidal flats and raises seafood. From making a fortune gathering seafood to leasing tidal flats and building aquaculture ponds, the family stands united through natural disasters and public scorn. Seizing the opportunities of the times, they rise from being the poor household everyone looked down on to become the richest family in the fishing village for miles around!
