Lu Xuan, a Taoist priest who spent his entire life in an age when magic was fading, died without ever managing to cast a complete lightning spell.
Upon his death, he transmigrated to a sword-and-sorcery fantasy world.
His talismans still worked, and his lightning arts retained a fraction of their power. All he wanted was to quietly cultivate and live in peace in a border town.
But shattered fragments of memory kept surging through his mind.
To his horror, he discovered that this wasn't his first time in this world. He had already been reincarnating for twelve thousand years.
Eastern talismanic arts and Taoist magic would clash with the Church's holy-light sorcery, and a past buried for ten thousand years would awaken once more in this world.
