The Little Taoist Master: Ghosts and Gods Beg Me Not to Clock Out

Five-and-a-half-year-old Su Pinpin takes over the most run-down Taoist temple in the capital. Debt collectors are blocking the entrance, and the courtyard is full of little ghosts waiting for a meal.

She picks up half a peachwood sword and makes a decision: finish three jobs, then shut the doors and run!

Born with Yin-Yang Eyes, she draws talismans her own way and exorcises ghosts with a family-inherited chant.

Asked to inspect the richest man's home, she casually points to the foul-smelling ditch in the backyard. Asked to drive evil spirits out of a movie star, she hands him a crooked, scribbled peace talisman.

Everyone expects a joke, but they dig antiques out of the ditch, saving the rich man's family from disaster, and the talisman saves the movie star's whole family.

When a master comes to challenge her, the evil spirit behind him drops to its knees first.

From then on, the powerful crowd her doorstep, ghost messengers line up, and a thousand-year-old ghost king volunteers to sweep the courtyard.

But as soon as she hangs up a sign saying "Closed for the day," people outside burst into tears. "Little Celestial Master, you're off work. What are we supposed to do tonight?"
