Lin Bei transmigrates into the world of Uma Musume and becomes a trainer at Kasamatsu Tracen Academy.
He lures in Oguri Cap, a horse girl who looks incredibly easy to fool, and recruits Shine Bright, too (though really, she just came along with Oguri Cap). At that moment, he awakens a System, and Lin Bei instantly becomes wildly overconfident, declaring with great bravado, "Our goal is to conquer the world!"
So Lin Bei leads the two of them from the regional circuit all the way to the central circuit. Can the Oguri Cap he trains defeat Tamamo Cross, the star of their era?
Along the way, Lin Bei also meets many horse girls, including the excellent Nice Nature, nicknamed Neicha; the chubby Mejiro McQueen; the Chinese daughter-in-law Mejiro Ardan; the angel Rice Shower; and the unyielding Tokai Teio.
Lin Bei also uses the System to help them, comforting Neicha, who comes in third every day (though he's actually making fun of her), and helping McQueen lose weight (though in reality, he makes her gain weight).
Of course, Lin Bei isn't all bad. He helps Ardan treat her glass legs, gives Rice Shower hope and gets her to call him Big Brother, and helps the tough Teio recover from her broken bone.
After he helps everyone, their eyes change. Are they getting a little yandere? Their possessiveness is overwhelming.
Lin Bei is a little scared and hurriedly says:
"Wait, Neicha, I wasn't making fun of you on purpose."
"Wait, McQueen, I didn't mean to make you gain weight."
"Wait, Ardan, didn't I treat your glass legs? Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Wait, Rice Shower, how did you end up like this?"
"Wait, Teio, what are you doing? Don't drag me into the basement!"
"Please, everyone, let me go! Sob, I miss Oguri Cap."
