No System, no brainless antics + a slice-of-life focus + some sequel and reboot elements
Plants vs. Zombies: Plant Girls fan fiction
Xing Ji was originally just a frail college student who slacked off and gave up because of “everything that had happened.” One night, while walking home in the dark, he made a wish on a purple shooting star and accidentally transmigrated to a temple full of mysterious Eastern powers and hulking tough guys, where the Qi Gong Master took him in as a “disciple who locks the door.” One day, he heard that a bizarre girl had set up a sign reading “Number One Under Heaven” outside the mountain gate and was challenging the temple. He went out to fight as the vanguard. But when he tried to recreate his master’s hand-crafted black hole, it blew up, and he got lost in the turbulence of time and space...
And so, in the wilderness:
“Wow, Corn Deity above, someone’s just sprouted here. Huh? They look kind of burnt?”
Only then did Xing Ji realize that life had apparently banished him once again to the world of Plant Girls.
“Qiu Shengyu: Worship me as your big sister. I’ll provide your corn and oil. Follow me, come on, come on, and life will be carefree!”
Xing Ji: So this is why you dragged me into busking?
And so Xing Ji once again set off on a “wonderful adventure,” fighting alongside the Adventurers’ Guild. Then, after he and that Zombie Emperor (not really) awoke from their “duel to the death, with heaven and earth sharing our lifespan”:
Xing Ji: What do you mean the Thornfolk are about to be wiped out?
What do you mean we sacrificed so much back then, and now our descendants are still forced to endure the cruel law of the jungle and make terrible sacrifices?
All Xing Ji wanted to say was:
“Back then, I couldn’t do anything... If I can’t change a thing, then what’s the point of a new life? I’ll sever the three corpses, and I’ll be myself! I’m going to rewrite every unhappy tomorrow!”
Looks ok, waiting for more updates🌝
Support it, it looks great!
