At twenty, Su Yang met Yan Zhenlong, a thirty-two-year-old photographer. Drawn to his work and character, Su Yang arranged photo shoots to create chances to spend time together, and feelings quietly blossomed amid shifting light and shadow. Su Yang tried several times to confess, but was held back by one concern after another. Little did he know that Yan Zhenlong had fallen for him too. Because of their age difference, Yan buried his feelings deep inside. The two circled each other in a flirtatious dance, neither daring to be the first to break the silence.
A post on Yan Zhenlong's social media about his trip to Tibet gave Su Yang the idea of heading to the snowy plateau. Then everything changed: Su Yang was diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer. He chose to forgo treatment and, while his body had not yet deteriorated, planned to take a series of artistic nude portraits as a final farewell to life. He contacted Yan Zhenlong again.
After learning about Su Yang's illness, Yan Zhenlong turned down all his work and drove west with him to Lhasa in the height of summer. On the bitterly cold plateau, the camera that had once captured mountains and rivers now focused only on Su Yang. They faced life and death together along the way, growing ever closer, yet both continued to keep their love hidden and unspoken.
Beneath the setting sun, Su Yang leaned against Yan Zhenlong's shoulder and passed away. To the very end, he could not voice the feelings he had never dared to confess.
Three and a half months, several complete rewrites, and countless breakdowns and tears. I cried more than I did during the time I was hospitalized for my leg injury.
I talked things over with friends late into the night, pooling our ideas to create a fictional journey to Tibet where the two set off from Guiyang and never returned.
As my feelings gradually settled, the story reached its promised ending. I welcome everyone to follow the protagonists into Tibet and experience a cleansing of body and soul.
Wishing everyone good health, all the best, and wealth in abundance!
This is an empty journey to Tibet, but I really yearn for that land [sending my heart] If I have time, I will follow this route to Tibet. I really cried while writing it. If it resonates with you and likes it, I hope everyone will support this book. If it has been written, you can feel free to follow it.
Although I only saw the beginning, I can feel the protagonist Su Yang's attitude towards life and death. Most people will think and fear when facing life and death. These are all innate, but Su Yang made a decision that went against common sense. Looking forward to the next story [please ask for updates]
Very good, this is a direction I have never thought of. If this happens one day, will he be as calm and open-minded as Su Yang?
Update quickly!! I want to see what happens next between the protagonists! The charm of Tibet is really great! I really want to go!!
