The Stunning NPC Goes on a Rampage, and the Whole Server Begs Her Not to Die

In the year 3024 of the interstellar era, Su Yao wakes up in the crummiest life-support pod in the slums. Her genetic disease is at its final stage, she has 47 star coins in her account, and she can barely afford even a discounted nutrient drink.

The System arrives: [Play 99 different bit-part NPCs, and you can reshape your genes.]

Additional conditions: Your screen time must not exceed 5% of the protagonist's. You must not show your face or earn money from live streams. Violators will lose lifespan.

Fine, she'll play a disposable extra. Masked Assassin A, stand still for three minutes, grab the boxed meal, and run.

But during a live stream watched by the whole internet, Gu Yan, the captain of the top guild, takes one look at her and stops moving.

The comments explode: "Who is that assassin?!"

A big-shot screenshot account posts a picture of her back against some ruins, and it stays on StarNet's trending list for three whole days.

The chief planner calls her in the middle of the night, practically blowing up her communicator: "We'll give you more screen time! You can even have the lead role!"

Su Yao: "No extra screen time. The sooner I die, the sooner I get paid."

All she wants is to finish playing her bit parts, collect her points, log off, and eat roasted sweet potatoes. But one casual combo of hers overloads the martial arts director AI; a high-risk delivery makes a rich, top-up-loving lady so infatuated she immediately wants to cuddle; and her performance in a one-for-one death scene leaves the entire server emotionally shattered.

Later, the entire interstellar community offers a ten-million reward to find the "NPC who dies most beautifully." Gu Yan corners her in a dungeon: "Who are you, really?"

Su Yao answers expressionlessly: "A bit-part extra. Don't block the way. I'm in a hurry to die."

Players across the server: Please, just don't die this time!
