From CEO to Great-Grandma

On a rainy night when I was six, my mother sent me to boarding school. The moment the iron gate closed, I cried until I nearly fainted, but my mother still turned and walked away. I thought it was a long nightmare, until the devastating news arrived: my father would never come back. My mother took me, my younger brother, and my grandmother, and we left our hometown for the northern city. An unfamiliar city, an unfamiliar stepfather...

Years later, I stood before a floor-to-ceiling window at the top of the city, with a business empire worth hundreds of billions behind me. People called me a ruthless CEO, but no one knew that the little girl crying at boarding school still lived in my heart. Life is the process of turning tears into light.
