Dorm Survival: I Can Summon Characters from Novels

Mu Yaoyao was squeezing onto a bus after work when she closed her eyes for a brief rest. When she opened them again, the world had been turned upside down. An eerie, unfamiliar place had replaced the city she knew, and the cold voice of the "Creator" rang in her mind: she had been chosen to participate in a dormitory survival game. Her family had been placed in a so-called safe zone, but their survival was not guaranteed. Clearing an instance would earn supplies to keep her family alive. Fail a mission, and she would die on the spot, while her loved ones in the safe zone would starve to death. The shackles of life and death rested entirely on her shoulders. Fortunately, her beginner's gift included a rare Summoning System. At regular intervals, she could summon someone to fight alongside her. Those summoned could also earn generous gift packs and points by clearing instances. But with every summoning, Mu Yaoyao grew more and more suspicious. The personalities, skills, and pasts of the teammates she summoned were all incredibly familiar. Weren't they the characters from the novels she'd recently been following and constantly writing plot twists for? The desperate dormitory survival game had begun. With characters from her novels appearing in terrifying instances, Mu Yaoyao could only clutch her summoning powers and fight for survival alongside them, protecting her family's lives.
