Everyone has an obsession. Those whose obsessions run too deep are dragged into the "World of Strange Tales". It's perfectly safe here, but the games will devour you. There is only one rule: complete ten games, and your obsession will be fulfilled, allowing you to return to reality. But so far, no one has ever cleared them.
Lin Mo's obsession is his younger sister, Lin Wan. He arrived one step too late at a fire, and his sister died in the flames. Since then, he has had only one thought: go back to that day and save her. He enters the game. Rules, taboos, and strange tales: every stage is harder than the last, and each one draws closer to him. After every stage, his body is enhanced once, and he can choose to improve one of his limbs, his luck, or his senses. But no one told him that the price of getting stronger is slowly losing his humanity.
At the end of the ninth stage, he sees the writing left behind by the pioneer "Zero", the only person to clear the ninth stage before vanishing forever. The handwriting is exactly like his sister's.
The tenth stage has no rating and no rules. No one who enters has ever come back. This stage is called "Obsession".
