This Monk's Name Is Thug, and I Send Patrons on Their Way!

[Decisive and Ruthless] [Exhilarating Contrast] [Merit System] [Buddhist Berserker] [Unstoppable in This Age]

After transmigrating to the land of the Nine Provinces, Shen Lian became a lowly novice monk sweeping the floors at Red Lotus Temple in Yanzhou, in the Western Desert. His Buddhist name was Xuankong.

He thought he would spend the rest of his life by a green lamp and an ancient Buddha, but then he discovered that the rundown temple had long been thoroughly corrupted by the demonic Blood Lotus Pure World Cult. Every monk in the temple was a demonic cultivator, and tonight they planned to use him as a living catalyst, digging out his heart's blood!

At the brink of despair, Shen Lian awakened the Merit Salvation System.

Salvation meant sending evil people on their way, and each one earned him a hundred years' worth of merit!

Merit could also be poured directly into his cultivation, causing his body to grow without limit and letting him shatter ten thousand techniques with sheer force!

And so the entire world of the vast Nine Provinces changed beyond recognition.

Demonic overlord: "Run! That monk who keeps preaching mercy is coming to wipe out another clan, carrying his nine-ringed monk's staff!"

The Seven Demonic Sects: "Please, Buddha, show yourself and take this vicious monk away! He kills even more than our demonic patriarch!"

The righteous sects: "Holy Monk Xuankong... that thousand-armed demon god behind you, the one who shattered the void. You call that a Meritorious Golden Body?"

Shen Lian pressed his palms together. Demonic energy surged behind him as compassion filled his face.

"Buddha saves the virtuous. This humble monk saves the wicked."

"I kill to protect life. I cut away karma, not people. Amitabha. This humble monk is merciful."
