The Director Is a Top-Tier Succubus. It Won't Hurt to Sleep With Her Once, Right?

Low-key, practical research assistant VS top-tier incubus neurosurgery director

One-on-one, both each other’s first and only | Workplace romance between superior and subordinate | Male lead: outwardly gentle, inwardly cunning, long-planned, a step-by-step “guiding” lover | Female lead: sweet-looking, extremely practical, merciless after sex, career-minded

[They’re mutually attracted at first sight from the start, and the sparks fly. Intense workplace tension and flirtation, without promoting improper values. If it’s not your thing, please don’t flame. Many bows.]

Liu Yiyi is a famously hardworking neurosurgery assistant and a reliable, conscientious intern. Her new boss, Lin Hancan, is a top-tier incubus in a white coat.

The whole hospital is abuzz with rumors that the newly appointed Director Lin is aloof and distinguished, the number one “unattainable beauty” every woman in the hospital wants to take down.

Liu Yiyi is no exception. She, too, covets Lin Hancan’s broad shoulders, slim waist, and irresistible physique.

But she’s extremely practical. All she cares about are SCI papers and a permanent position. She absolutely refuses to let good looks become an obstacle to her research. Day after day, she follows the rules, keeping a low profile as the perfect employee and hiding her little fantasies deep inside.

Until, after a grueling 48-hour experiment, she’s a little tipsy and can’t resist temptation. She sleeps with the department director.

The next day, so it won’t affect her promotion, she leaves 888 yuan as “consumables expenses” and slips away. During the day, she continues to address him with a perfectly straight face as “Director Lin.”

She has no idea that the refined, abstinent man, the vivid scratches on his neck, pins her behind the door of an empty supply room and murmurs seductively:

“Assistant Liu, you’re pretty good at leaving right after sex. What, you sleep with the department director for free and don’t even leave him a good review?”
