Reborn in 1981, Zhou Yuanzhi no longer wants to leave home and seek his fortune.
In his previous life, he spent half his days wandering and achieved nothing. He let down his parents, and the woman he loved, whom he waited so long for, was left with only an urn of ashes.
Given another chance, he shoulders a hoe for gathering medicinal herbs and puts down roots in the mountains.
He gathers herbs on the hills and sells them at market, digs for gastrodia and picks epimedium, supporting his family with the mountain's bounty.
Surrounded by family and keeping his little sister close, he'll build a steady, prosperous life in the countryside!
