[Fantasy + Transmigration + Happy Ending + Multiple Female Leads + A Touch of Lovecraftian Horror + Divinity]
Arthur Vane, a top surgeon in his previous life, accidentally transmigrates to another world ravaged by the Black Death.
The good news: an Outer God older than antiquity has descended into his body.
The bad news: this Outer God seems utterly unreliable.
Worse still, to practice medicine in the Middle Ages, he will have to face a situation where everyone is out to get him, as well as a double assault from disease and the Church.
On the eve of the gods' dawn, reborn in a benighted little town, can Arthur escape his fate of being wiped out?
With an Outer God's help, Arthur resolves to don the guise of a plague doctor and use the light of reason (crossed out) to dispel the gloom!
After treating his final patient, Arthur let out a long breath and threw his arms up in a cheer:
"Everyone, listen up!"
"My name is Arthur Vane. I am one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the bearer of the Divinity of Plague, and an agent of an Outer God!"
"From this day forward, the God of Plague joins the side of justice!"
"I hereby declare that this raging plague... has come to an end!"
Listening to the praise rising from across the entire plane, Arthur smiled from the bottom of his heart:
"Oh, and one more thing!"
"This world is vast, but my heart is small, so small that it can only hold Lady Nyarlathotep!"
"I want to tell her..."
