He Dongwei is a working girl who's all about the money, practically a walking payment code.
When Xu Jiashu first saw her, only one word came to mind: “Materialistic.”
What he didn't know then was that
this woman would smash his old life to pieces, then build a whole new world on its ruins.
Later, Xu Jiashu looks at his wheelchair, then at the woman in front of him.
Her round eyes are damp like a puppy's.
She tilts her head up and asks earnestly, “Boss, didn't you have your leg amputated? Why does your chest hurt?”
That rainy night, he holds her, stroking the hair by her ear.
He murmurs, “Dongwei, can I kiss you?”
Outside the window, rain pours down. A rose grows wildly in his heart.

1. Sweet from beginning to end, with no misunderstandings. They believe in each other completely.
2. The male lead is arrogant and sharp-tongued, neither easygoing nor approachable. He doesn't care about anyone, and he's the kind of person who'd blow up the world over the slightest disagreement.
3. The female lead is kind and resilient, but also sharp-tongued and chatty. She's not weak and easy for everyone to bully (at most, she'll give a little ground for the sake of money).
