Shen An spent a day unconscious in a cave on Kunlun Mountain, while his spirit soul spent nearly ten thousand years cultivating in a shattered pocket realm.
At the final moment of his tribulation to become an immortal, he was ambushed, and his Dao body shattered. When he opened his eyes again, he was back in the modern world, his cultivation gone and his spirit soul gravely wounded. His phone was full of missed calls from his mother.
He thought that after surviving the calamity, he would first have to find out who had caused his tribulation to fail. But as soon as he answered the phone, his mother urged him to come home for a blind date.
Shen An said, "I'm only a sophomore. Why would I go on a blind date?"
His mother said, "Just meet her first!"
At the blind date, he encountered a gold-digger and couldn't be bothered to engage. Then he ran into Lin Wanwan, who was being harassed by a rich playboy, and casually stepped in to help. He thought it was just a chance encounter, but before long, campus trouble, martial arts experts, and secret ancient martial arts societies were all coming after him.
So what if his cultivation was damaged?
His ten thousand years of cultivation were still with him. No matter how powerful his former enemies were, they were no match for a single move in Shen An's eyes.
In this life, he would deal with the blind dates his mother arranged while setting out on the path of cultivation once more and uncovering the truth about the night of his tribulation.
