My Boss, the CEO, Has Been Scheming to Win Me Over for Ages

One-on-one romance, both leads pure, a long-planned pursuit x a clearheaded and independent heroine, workplace tension and constant twists.

Male lead: To outsiders, he's a cold, ascetic workaholic and domineering CEO. In truth, he's been quietly watching the female lead for a long time. This isn't a spur-of-the-moment decision. Once he realizes his feelings, he launches into a direct pursuit and spoils her wholeheartedly.

Female lead: Estranged from her family, clearheaded and independent, with exceptional professional talent. She looks sweet and obedient, but is fiercely defiant inside. Both leads are pure.

On her first day as an intern, Su Yang notices that CEO Lu Yanci looks at her strangely.

Only later does she discover that he's been keeping track of her for six years.

He searched for the stubborn girl from the swimming competition throughout his youth.

The permanent-position assessment is rife with undercurrents, and someone with connections swoops in to steal a spot.

She stays up all night working on projects while he quietly clears away obstacles.

Until one night, the feelings he's restrained for years finally break loose.

"Su Yang, I waited for you to grow up. I wasn't waiting for you to run away."

Her older brother returns from abroad, his identity a mystery.

Workplace power games grow more perilous at every turn.

He plots carefully at every step, while she stays clearheaded and independent.

"Mr. Lu, I don't rely on men to get ahead."

"Then what do you rely on?"

"...On you chasing me."
