[Single Female Lead] [Childhood Friends] [Pure Campus Romance] [Yandere Possessiveness]
My childhood friend was so good at pretending to be timid that I never realized all my life that she could coldly reject every suitor, yet only ever say "I don't dare" in front of me!
She isn't timid. She's just afraid I'll stop wanting her.
On my first day back at Nancheng University after transferring, Ye Shuran grabbed me by the stairs. "Jiang Jing, are you going to leave again this time?"
She said she was just passing by, but waited two hours outside the men's dorm. She said she didn't care, but remembered that I hated cilantro and had a bad stomach. She even knew my class schedule and free time inside out.
When I got hurt, she stormed into the infirmary to demand answers. When I discussed models with Lin Yue, she retracted nine messages in the middle of the night. When rumors spread on the forum, she shielded me in front of everyone. "Who Jiang Jing likes is nobody else's decision to make!"
Was this really the childhood friend who gave everyone else a cold look but acted sweet and obedient around me?
A pocket watch, old photos, the first snow, hands clasped beneath the fireworks... She treated our childhood promise as a lifelong vow.
But when I finally said, "I like you," she asked with red-rimmed eyes, "If I'm a lot of trouble, will you still stay?"
Is she really in love, or is she doing everything she can to make sure I won't leave again?
She's not an obsessive, unhinged yandere. Her possessiveness comes only from her fear of losing me.
It was fun to watch, why did it switch to the first perspective? 😠
