The apocalypse descends, and all of humanity is dragged into the [Infinite Livestream]: A bizarre instance opens at random each day. Clear it to earn popularity points; fail, and you disappear on the spot.
While other players tremble in haunted houses, Lu Li, a former horror game reviewer, turns around and pulls a female ghost into his livestream. "Hey, everyone, this ghost isn't very professional. Come on, let's get a close-up!"
The rules demand that he die, but he turns his death footage into a snarky commentary video. Midnight phone calls, paper effigies in bridal palanquins, echoes from the deep sea: each instance is creepier than the last, yet he turns them all into viral comedy shows. The chat goes wild with laughter, the horrors glitch out, and the whole internet hails him as "the number one death-seeking streamer."
He thought he was just lucky, until he saw an old computer labeled "Demo Version" in the control room of an abandoned hospital instance. On it lay an opening invitation addressed to him personally.
It turned out he had never been a lucky player at all.
He was the special guest, handpicked by the director.
