The Metaphysics-Savvy Daughter Is Busy Telling Fortunes, While the Aloof Heir Keeps the Bed Warm

[Fortune-telling and divination + satisfying revenge on scumbags + both leads are devoted to each other + a touch of secret identity + episodic stories + a little family infighting] Before she was four, Ye Yunluo was abandoned by her birth mother and thrown off a cliff. Twelve years later, her family came looking for her, and she decisively returned to the capital to settle old scores.

Her entire family dotes on her cousin and treats Ye Yunluo like an outsider. They even demand that she give up her engagement, or they'll disown her?

Good. If they disown me, I'll cut ties and live freely. Throw me out? I'll make it on my own. And as for my fiance, men only slow down my fortune-telling. Go cool your heels somewhere else.

Mo Hanzhou: If it's cool beside Luoluo, then this young lord likes it there. Let me cuddle up to you! I promise I won't slow down your fortune-telling. That blind scumbag? I'll chase him off.

Ye Yunluo: Someone's purple aura is strong. It wouldn't hurt to take a breath of it to prolong my life, right? Maybe... we could hold hands too?

Ghost King Hei Yan: The young lord used to be aloof and avoid women. Why is he fighting over her now? Shameless. Bah!

Her whole family thinks Ye Yunluo was thrown out. They assume that a country bumpkin raised in the backwater will struggle to get by in the capital and will soon come crawling back to apologize.

She reads faces, interprets characters, tells fortunes, draws talismans, and hunts demons. In just six months, she becomes a favorite among the capital's powerful families. The Crown Prince claims her as his sworn younger sister, and a commandery princess calls her big sister. Before long, she's someone they can only look up to.

The entire Ye family regrets their actions. Her fiance shamelessly kneels to apologize and beg for forgiveness, claiming over and over that a scheming woman deceived him.

Ye Yunluo: We've cut ties. Don't bother me!

Birth mother: Luoluo, I know I was wrong. A mother and daughter shouldn't hold grudges overnight. Please forgive me? The rest of the family joins in, telling her to let bygones be bygones and stop holding a grudge.

Ye Yunluo points to the cliff where they threw her all those years ago. Jump down, and I'll think about it.

Mo Hanzhou: If they won't jump, I'll kick them off!
