[Rule-Based Horror] [Infinite-Flow] [Mystery and Horror] [Not Overpowered]
"Chen Mo, don't stay in Room 304 this time."
On his first visit to Happiness Apartments, the taxi driver said "this time" to him.
Chen Mo thought the driver had mistaken him for someone else.
That was until the street behind him vanished, and two names, both reading "Chen Mo," appeared in the guest register at the front desk.
Even more terrifying, the strange beings here all seemed to know him.
Some warned him not to go inside, while others were waiting for him to come back.
But Chen Mo was certain he had never been here before.
Only after barely escaping alive did he learn that the nightmare was far from over.
Those who were chosen were marked with a special symbol and forced to enter rule-based horror scenarios again and again. Refuse to enter, and you die. Only by clearing ten scenarios can you truly win your freedom.
Newcomers might be used as bait to test the rules, and veteran players weren't necessarily trustworthy either.
As one strange scenario after another came to an end, Chen Mo realized that the strange beings knew far more about him than just his name.
Who was it that they really knew?
And what had the other "Chen Mo," the one even Chen Mo himself couldn't remember, done?
I can read it, which is quite strange. It coincides with the title of the book.
Overall it's okay, the writing at the end is okay, the pace in the middle is a bit slow
