[Two male leads + 1v1 + long-planned schemes + two crazy men baiting each other]
Small-world endings: mostly BE and HE
A flirtatious, theatrical bottom vs. a darkened, obsessive top
Actor Yun Qing was killed by a falling chandelier while accepting an award. When he opened his eyes, he was in the quick-transmigration bureau.
The System said, "Play the second male lead. Once you finish the plot, you can live."
Yun Qing said, "Fine."
But in every world, the same antagonist latched onto him.
By the third world, he finally remembered to ask:
"Who are you, really?"
And who... was he himself?
Small World 1:
Falsely accused and imprisoned, Yun Qing decided to find a way to survive first.
But this "way out" was far too easy. The man could come and go freely in prison.
Yun Qing: "Bro, are you here to serve time or take a vacation?"
The man glanced at him. "I'm here to wait for you."
Small World 2:
Yun Qing transmigrated into the world of a melodramatic novel he'd written himself. He desperately tried to escape the plot's control, but it always twisted back to the starting point in unexpected ways, while an obsessive antagonist kept him under watch.
Yun Qing: "I'm done. I can't play, I can't win. I'll just lie flat."
The antagonist cornered him against the wall. "In the ending you wrote, I'm yours."
Yun Qing: "...Can I still change the plot?"
Small World 3:
Yun Qing became the young master of a general's household. His achievements were so great they overshadowed the throne, and the emperor was wary of him. A crisis was at hand.
He was ready to make his mark, but unexpectedly discovered that the man who had pursued him across several worlds had now become a poor soul whose entire family had been wiped out.
Fortunes change. At last, it was Yun Qing's turn to rise.
...Wait.
In the original plot's ending, the general's whole family was sentenced to death too.
It seemed he wasn't much better off than that man...
Among billions of people, I will always recognize you.
My soul recognizes you before I do.
