Cixue on the Palace Wall

A short story about digging up a treasure! The plot lines are intertwined, and the reversal is completely unexpected. Shen Qingci endures revenge all the way, and in the end has to choose between family ties and home country. This portrayal is amazing. The supporting characters are vivid, not simply foils, and the writing is exquisite. Highly recommended!

Read it in one sitting! The rhythm is compact and not procrastinating, and the foreshadowing is cleverly laid out, making it more shocking as it goes on. The heroine is calm and tough, and all the supporting characters have their own stories and are not tool people. The final decision sublimates the whole story, and the pattern suddenly opens up. Highly recommended! A short story about the power of family and country, an ancient proverb with progressive twists and turns! Shen Qingci embarked on the road of revenge after being burdened with many injustices. He thought that the truth would be revealed, but he did not expect that there would be a shocking twist. The choice between the biological father and the people is particularly poignant. The pull between filial piety and family and country is full of feeling. The characters are not black and white. After reading it, I couldn't calm down for a long time.
