An ensemble cast.
The master only wants to lie flat and enjoy a quiet retirement, so her disciples have to fend for themselves.
Tired of her old life, the master fakes her death and escapes.
She settles down on a little mountain.
Then an accident leads her to save someone, who becomes her disciple.
An ordinary village at the foot of the mountain somehow sparks a battle to the death.
She brings home another disciple.
And so... once there's one, there are two, then three, four, five, six, seven...
She doesn't want to take on disciples. She really... really means it!
The disciples she raised before all turned out to be useless.
But every one of the new disciples is a handful.
Do whatever you like.
She's done trying to manage them.
Her disciples will just have to fend for themselves.
The eldest disciple is obsessive, with eyes and heart fixed solely on her master, and has even developed a heart demon because of it.
The second disciple spends every day cleaning up their messes. Enough already! Why doesn't Master just kill them all?
