Mystic Soil: From One Acre of Barren Land to Life in Harmony

[Not a Wish-Fulfillment Story] [No Mindless Protagonist] [No Female Lead] [Farming] [Beast Taming]

After Heaven and Earth changed, spiritual plants sprouted from the soil, wild beasts transformed into spirit beasts, and those who awakened spirit cores gained power and control over the land.

Sixteen-year-old Shen Qinghe has his ancestral fields taken from him, leaving him with half a sack of old seeds and a barren slope no one is willing to cultivate.

Then he awakens a Dao seed in the soil.

He reads the land, cultivates seeds, and calls down rain, nurturing beasts with his fields and his fields with his beasts. A mouse that loves hiding grain and a greedy iron-armored boar help him turn wasteland into spirit fields, and accompany him as he goes from a boy who has never awakened his spiritual abilities to someone steadily embarking on the long-lost path of symbiosis.

Good crops attract buyers, but they also attract those who want to take his land.

From the sluice gates where people fight over water to the grain routes prowled by ferocious beasts, he gradually learns that in a world where strength reigns, it's not enough to grow a good harvest. You have to be able to protect it, too.

And when his grain leaves his hometown, the conflicts among the nine nations and the approaching Great Spiritual Tide begin to affect his fields as well.
