"I'm back to fish. This time, I'm really not going to grind."
After three months away from Minecraft, Xu Zhao logged back into the server and saw his friend He Chuan dropping the materials he'd promised someone straight into the lava.
After saving the goods, Xu Zhao found out that He Chuan had already put both their names on the project and taken an advance payment to build a materials harbor.
The deadline was thirty days.
Xu Zhao hadn't even agreed yet when a skilled player next door said his old warehouse needed an upgrade.
Fine. First, he'd beat him at his own game.
He really did beat him at the old warehouse. Xu Zhao sent a screenshot of his score to He Chuan.
"Why are you sending that to me? I was working on it just now, too."
"So you can save it."
He Chuan found him annoying and forwarded the picture to the group instead.
Later, the harbor lights came on, and the night market filled with people. He Chuan's blueprints grew more ambitious, and the materials the two of them won went straight into their next station.
Then someone claimed credit for their station and tried to buy their approval with supplies.
Xu Zhao went to tear down the nameplate, but He Chuan stopped him.
"I agreed to the terms. The materials have already been used. How am I supposed to give them back?"
"What else did you agree to on my behalf?"
