With Gold Mining This Profitable, Who Needs a Day Job?

(Reborn + System + gold prospecting + tycoon + feel-good power fantasy)

Ye Chen opens his eyes and finds himself back in Nangang Village at the turn of the millennium. His family is dirt poor, and as his memories merge, he discovers that his simple-minded mother raised him alone.

In his previous life, he was a gold-prospecting tycoon worth tens of billions. Now he can't even afford to buy meat for his mother. Fortunately, the Gold Prospector System has come along with him!

A metal detector, a pack of cigarettes, and a whole day spent searching the hills behind Nangang Village.

"Hey, I dug up a silver nugget? What if I find a gold nugget next? Is gold prospecting really this exciting?"

"If you can make money, who the hell would choose to stay poor?"

Starting in Nangang Village, Ye Chen moves his simple-minded mother into a new tiled house. He makes tens of millions in one go at a black gold mine, then becomes a multimillionaire by taking over a tungsten mine. From panning the riverbanks back home to prospecting African mineral veins, from digging through Siberian permafrost to searching the South American rainforest!!

When everyone else is making a thousand a month, he makes seventeen hundred a day!

Need to buy a refrigerator? Just go out and dig up a chunk of gold!

Want to build a new house? Just prospect a gold bar. Think that'll be enough?

His simple-minded mother sits in their newly built house, smiling foolishly as she holds a gold bracelet.

Ye Chen stands on the hill overlooking his mine and the surrounding wilderness. "Mom, in this life, your son will make you the most pampered simple-minded mother in the whole world."
