After Taking Over the Cafeteria Stall, the Whole School Begged Me Not to Graduate

After reporting a shady food factory, Wen Suisui had all her internship offers withdrawn.

Her mother's noodle shop was still 120,000 yuan in debt, and she couldn't wait around. So she took over the loneliest food stall at school, Stall Number Twelve.

As the previous owner hauled away his last pot, he kindly warned her, "Miss, everyone who takes this spot loses money."

Wen Suisui tied on an apron and opened the Myriad Flavors Cafeteria System she'd just bound herself to.

She wasn't thinking that far ahead. First, she had to earn the 30,000 yuan due at the end of the month.

The first batch of potstickers came out, their delicate, crispy skirts crumbling at a touch, each bite bursting with savory juice. The next day, the aroma of wontons in chili oil drifted across half the cafeteria.

Students who used to complain that it was too far crowded around the stall with their trays. "Boss, what do you mean, sold out? It's only noon!"

As business picked up, she hired two helpers: a burly man who was 195 centimeters tall and named Liu Xu, and a young woman called Luo Dachui whose voice could drown out the range hood.

The three of them turned the quiet stall into the longest line on campus.

When Shen Jibai, the food safety chief, came to inspect, students gathered to watch, expecting the boss to get chewed out.

But after the inspection, he put away his notebook and joined the end of the line of his own accord.

"Boss Wen, save me a bowl of porridge."

Wen Suisui kept busy paying off debts, adding stoves, and saving money to put her mother's noodle shop sign back up. It wasn't until someone realized she was graduating in June that year.

That same day, a post appeared in the school's postgraduate entrance exam group:

[Urgent! How do we convince the cafeteria boss to apply to our school's graduate program?]
