Su Nian barely made it into this university from a province known for its fierce college entrance exam competition. She wants to become class monitor and turn her life around.
Then she discovers that being class monitor is a thankless job, pure and simple.
Her counselor shifts blame onto her, the Youth League secretary makes snide remarks, and the other class monitors dump all their work on her. She shoulders all the paperwork for financial aid, gets told their innovation and entrepreneurship project is "flawed from the start," and is mocked by classmates for tutoring.
But she also meets Chen Zhi, who believes spicy hot pot can cure anything, Song Jia, who cooks noodles for her, and the cat that has claimed her hat.
She loves to smile, but that doesn't mean she never feels wronged. She's so busy she can barely breathe, but she keeps moving forward.
The hectic everyday life of an ordinary college girl, full of troubles, but with little moments of warmth too.
