"The horrors have arrived, so why give me a romance System?"
In a world overrun by the bizarre, the dormitory is the only sanctuary. You have to earn coins and upgrade your room to survive.
In her previous life, Ruan Ruan had managed to hang on for three years. Just as she was about to celebrate finally saving enough coins to upgrade her dorm with a hot pot meal, she let her compassion get the better of her and rescued a homeless man in the hallway. He killed her...
Reborn, Ruan Ruan kills the "homeless man" from the start. She's already imagining the happy life ahead when her long-lost ex-boyfriend, Jiang Jin, shows up, unexpectedly activating a romance System.
System: "Ding! We have detected a fluctuation in your emotions. You have been selected as the Host of this System!"
Ruan Ruan: "As expected, a reborn female protagonist needs a System. What kind of System are you? A coin System? Or..."
System: "A romance System!"
Ruan Ruan: "Wrong channel, much? This is a world of horrors!"
