Hormones Out of Control: The Ice-Cold Professor Breaks His Rules

[Easygoing genius surgeon girl in disguise vs. aloof, scheming old fox]

Xu Ning's life plan was simple:

Do her rotations properly, save up, and become an independent surgeon as soon as possible.

That was until she walked into the wrong room after drinking and slept with the youngest doctoral supervisor at Jing University, an heir to a financial dynasty.

After waking up, she left two hundred yuan and gave him a bad review for good measure.

The next day, she saw that "stranger" during the hospital's grand clinical rounds.

Xie Heng pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses.

"Dr. Xu, come to my lab tonight."

Xu Ning: "To talk about work?"

Xie Heng: "To talk about skills."

From then on, her life unlocked a strange new questline.

Other people got into a research group by building seniority. She got in because Professor Xie personally called on her.

Other people worried about making mistakes during surgery. She stood at the operating table looking for lesions no one else could see.

Other people got reprimanded by their supervisors and had to write self-criticisms. Xie Heng reprimanded her:

"You went into surgery with low blood sugar. Points deducted."

"You've been staying up night after night. Go home and sleep."

"When are you paying me back?"

Most absurd of all, Professor Xie didn't just control her surgical privileges. He also made sure she ate, decided whether she should be hospitalized, and even named the Maine Coon at home Ning Ning.

Xu Ning finally couldn't help asking:

"Are you training a team member, or have you been plotting this all along?"

Xie Heng looked down at her.

"Only just figured it out?"
