Empresses in the Palace: I Opened My Eyes as Consort Qi

Don't want to go out for National Day? Your transmigration gift package has arrived.

Li Jingyan is delighted to receive a new identity: Consort Qi, the infamous cannon-fodder who gets people killed in Empresses in the Palace.

The beloved son who transmigrated with her has become a giant in the Qing Dynasty.

In the original story, mother and son were both tools for the Empress, like two guns in her arsenal.

The newly transmigrated mother and son hit it off at once.

Compete for favor? Not happening! Fight for the throne? No thanks!

Their only goal at first is to keep a low profile, act meek, stay alive, and steer clear of every plotline that could get them killed.

But taking a step back doesn't bring peace. It only invites others to take more.

The Empress schemes at every turn, and the others never let up with their malice. A laid-back approach to survival won't keep them safe, so they stop giving ground.

With the complete script in hand, they know the course of everyone's fate.

Looking for trouble? Then they'll ruin your prospects, break your destiny, and eliminate your troubles.

In this life, Zhen Huan and Prince Guo end up together forever. Some people in the harem meet their destined endings, while others break free from the fates written for them.

Mother and son defy fate and turn the tables, tear their enemies apart, escape their doomed destinies, and secure wealth and honor. They live in peace and prosperity for the rest of their lives.
